A Healthy and Effective Diet

Melissa McCarthy is one of the best known and respected female celebrities in Hollywood. In fact, many of her movies were not even produced by Hollywood, but they still made millions of dollars! This is partly due to the public fascination with anyone who is ’lighter than dark’ or ’fitter than thin’.

The former actress and singer, now an award winning screenwriter and producer, has gone through a weight loss transformation, which she tells people she found difficult to achieve. At first, Melissa says, her attempts at weight loss were not very successful, as she tried lots of different diets and did not find the one that would transform her into a super slim beautiful woman. Eventually, by doing what she calls ”the detox diet”, she was able to rid herself of a number of toxins and parasites by drinking the teas that are made from a variety of herbs. These herbal teas help the body cleanse itself and flush away harmful toxins, helping the metabolism to speed up, thereby burning more calories while one is on the detox diet.

After a few months on the detox diet, Melissa had lost quite a bit of weight and had managed to maintain it during the next few years. When Melissa finally got to step five of her weight loss routine and looked at the nutritional facts on the labels of the foods in her kitchen, she was shocked. There was nothing in there that had to do with losing weight! She asked herself why this was and discovered that the main reason she was not losing weight was because she was eating way too many preservatives, artificial colorings and flavourings in the foods that should have been making her feel sick and tired instead. By cutting out these fattening ingredients, Melissa was able to turn her sluggish metabolism around and get back to feeling her best again.
